Purchase of products
When you order a Product from our website you are committing to buy it at the price stated, subject to these terms. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time that the relevant information was entered onto the system.
We reserve the right to refuse an order. Non-acceptance of an order may, for example, result from one of the following:
- The product ordered being unavailable due to stock shortage
- Our inability to obtain authorisation of payment
- The identification of an error within the product information, including price or promotion
Order acceptance and cancellation
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, decline, or limit your order for any reason, whether your credit card has been charged, or not. If your credit card has been charged and your order is cancelled, you will receive a refund.
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled unless the shipment is unavoidably delayed. In this case, we will do our best to cancel the order if requested.
Out of stock items
If the item you purchased is out-of-stock (and is not a made to order item), manufacturing time will need to be added to the waiting period. Manufacturing time is normally four to seven weeks depending on the item. Please be aware that dates are approximate and are subject to change.
Your entire order will ship together as soon as all items are ready for shipping. However, if you have any inconvenience with this and prefer to have the available items shipped first, please let us know. We will happily ship your order in separate shipments, at an additional charge to cover the courier costs. Please consider placing a separate order for your back-ordered items if you prefer not to wait on them for the rest of your items to ship. Payment for all items is collected when your order is placed.
Made to order pieces
Some of our pieces are made to order. Please allow for two to three weeks manufacturing time for these items, from the time of placing your order. Requested modifications are subject to revised production timelines and pricing.
Prices displayed on the website are shown in Rand, including VAT. Prices are subject to change at any time.
Deliveries will be charged in addition to the price of the products. For very precious items, we may ask you to pay an extra fee, to cover the specific shipping cost.

CHANGES IN PRODUCTS AND PRICING
We are constantly updating and revising our offerings of products, and we may discontinue products at any time without notice. All pricing for our products is subject to change. For all of our prices and products, we reserve the right to make adjustments due to changing market conditions, currency fluctuations, product discontinuation, manufacturer price changes, errors in advertisements, and other extenuating circumstances.
An additional rate will be charged per parcel for courier depending on what the address is. If you live in a remote area, increased costs may occur. Please note that we cannot deliver to a Postal Box and thus a physical address is necessary for shipping within South Africa. Please provide detailed and correct contact information; should a product be returned to us due to incorrect delivery information, additional shipping costs will be incurred.
Purchases are only shipped once payment has been made in full. Once your purchase has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number and your parcel should arrive at your address within 3-5 working days.
International payments are made via PAYPAL. Please allow up to 6-15 working days for worldwide delivery. Remember that the order will ship only when the payment has cleared. Orders can be shipped by certified mail service, which provides you with a tracking number, or it can be shipped by courier.
Your shipment may include delays depending on your country’s customs policies. The buyer is responsible for any duties and/or customs fees that may be incurred by the country of destination.
Signature Babe Boutique only ships orders from Monday to Friday, during office hours, and does not operate on public holidays.
Payment may be made via bank transfer into the Signature Babe Boutique bank account, the details of which will be provided on request. Payments may also be made via SnapScan.
Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is ZAR (South African Rand).
You may also be liable for any customs and import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Therefore, we suggest that you check the requirements in your country before placing an order. We will not be liable for any customs or import duties.
ADVERTISING DISCLAIMER AND TRADEMARKS
We attempt to be as accurate as possible with product descriptions and prices. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or prices are accurate. In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing, or product information received from our suppliers and brands, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price.
We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
We want all of our customers to be happy with purchases made at Signature Babe Boutique. However, if you receive any products that you are unhappy with, you may contact us within 10 business days of receiving it and, if eligible, we will refund your purchase. The purchase price is the amount you paid for the product and does not include any delivery costs. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Signature Babe Boutique shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
